How the Food Blog for Wild Game Recipes Began

I have been cooking and creating new wild game recipes almost every day of the week since I married my wife in 2010. All l want to do is cook. Cooking and creating has reinvigorated a life that had become exhausting.  Creating recipes for my wife and our daughter feeds my mind, body and soul.

The food blog began on a long drive back home to Fargo. Our daughter was sleeping in the backseat when my wife turned to me and said, ‘You know, I wish we could figure out a way for you to make money doing this wild game cooking thing full time.“ So I did. I got up at 4 in the morning every day and drove Uber for three hours for six months so I could save up enough money to quit my day job and do the food blog full time.

Since launching Wild Game and Fish Media in February of 2022, I have shared hundreds of recipes that have reached thousands upon thousands of readers. I am honored every day to be invited into your homes. Thank you for making my recipes, trusting my recipes, leaving comments and for following along! You are the reason I’m allowed to do what I do!
