Here are my family's favorite fish recipes for every kind of freshwater and saltwater fish I can get my hands on. From walleye to northern pike, crappie to paddlefish, and redfish to puffer fish.
I live two minutes from the Red River here in Fargo, North Dakota. There I can easily catch a limit of channel catfish and bring them home to try and transform them into new and interesting catfish recipes. But I also live just an hour from some great walleye and panfish lakes, so our freezer is usually well stocked to keep my wife happy.
I appreciate pan seared walleye, but Pescado Frito will always be my favorite of all fish recipes. I can never go wrong making my wife fish tacos for date night, or my buddies some pickled northern pike.
Almost all of my fish recipes are from species you'll find in North Dakota. But occasionally I'll post a saltwater fish recipe when I take a trip to the Gulf Coast of Texas or Florida.
Right now, the most popular fish recipes on the website are my How to Smoke Fish and my Smoked Fish Dip.
