Upland Birds & Small Game

Upland birds and small game like pheasant, grouse, wild turkey, quail and partridge are all pretty popular to eat. Some people eat game birds because they love bird hunting, others hunt birds because they like to eat them. I’d be in the latter category. I also love to use rabbits, squirrels, and beaver in a range of other comforting dishes. This rich wild game meat is delicious when roasted, slow-cooked in stews, served in pies, or your favorite pasta sauce.
