Deer Ham and Cheese Everything Bagel Croissant
This Deer Ham and Cheese Everything Bagel Croissant is my wild game twist on a classic breakfast sandwich.BRUNCH AT HOMEAt-home brunch is my favorite way to keep Sunday mornings easy. I don't know about you, but the last thing I want on a weekend is to get up late and then wait to eat. I'm a huge fan of eating brunch at home. I don't drink anymore, so a waffle buffet with the all-you-can-guzzle Bloody Mary Bar just isn't my thing. I'd rather hang out with my wife and daughter in our pajamas until mid-afternoon. This classic breakfast sandwich is perfect for a quick grab-and-go during the week, but it's also a Sunday Brunch favorite. Since I have a freezer full of venison, I gave it the wild game treatment. The ooey gooey Swiss & Provolone with this deer ham is always a hit with the girls. The croissants add buttery richness that is balanced with a bite of sharp Dijon mustard. And the combination of cheese and pickled onion is a match made in heaven! I like to whip these up and set them on the table with some scrambled eggs and fresh fruit salad - and I'm done. Here's to keeping it easy like Sunday morning.HOW TO MAKE A DEER HAM AND CHEESE EVERYTHING BAGEL CROISSANT1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Split croissants open with a serrated knife.
